The trends on EAPs continue to show that more employers are offering this service to their employees. Smaller US businesses with 25 or fewer employees are less likely to offer an EAP. This is due to smaller employers, without an HR department, are not aware of EAP services as a benefit offering, or don’t know how to set one up.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – A benefit provided by your employer. It is a short-term counseling to address life issues that can interfere with a happy, productive life at home or work.
